Vangel Stoyanov was born in Karnobat, Bulgaria. He studied in UNSS and graduates in “Accountancy and Supervision”.
He starts dancing in 2004 in Sofia and in 2005 he joins salsa club Vamos with instructors Moni and Monika. For a short period of time he improves his dancing a lot and he’s invited to join Salsa Caliente Dance Team. Together they represented Bulgaria at the European Salsa Championship held in UK in 2006. They took the prestigious second place in the Team Division and an invitation from Mr. Albert Torres to take part in the World Salsa Championships, Las Vegas 2006.Vangel together with Salsa Caliente takes the prize for a debut of 2006 at the First Bulgarian Salsa Awards – “Conga y Clave”.
Later on Vangel becomes a co-instructor in the studio of Street Salseros Dance Company. In February and April, 2007, Vangel and his partner Pepi take part in the professional division of the National Salsa Competitions held in Sofia and Plovdiv. In May they competed again at the qualifications for the World Salsa Championships.
On the next year, 2008, Vangel finds a new partner – Vesela, and they win the 1st place, amateur division, dancing at Plovdiv Salsa Open. A couple of months later they become 5th at the Qualifications for the World Salsa Championships, Orlando 2008.
He starts his solo career in 2008 being part of Salsa la Vista Dance Company as one of its’ main instructors and choreographers.
